Have been receiving text messages from a number, and when I received my Roger's bill I had been charged $48.00 for a trivia contest for an I Pad. I have not recollection of entering this contest, and I already have an IPad, 2 I Phones and a Blackberry, so why would I enter this contest. When I called, I was told that I had entered into the agreement in February, and that they did not refund money. I was given an email site [email protected]. I have told them they can talk to my lawyer. My other question is why Roger's allows them to bill through their company. If they know it is a scam, why promote something illegal. Maybe Bell has a better solution.
