I wanted one set of books at 29.00 and a second set at 22.00. I upgraded the second to hardcover. On HSN they said you get free shipping if you order within so many minutes which I did. However, the recording just went on and on about all kinds of other things to order which I did not want. I was disgusted having to keep listening so I hung up thinking my whole order was cancelled since I did not finish. Well, I got the order, got charged for shipping and got 2 sets of hard cover books. Order totalling 98.00. I was not happy. Called them and found out I had to ask about free shipping but I never got a person. I guess the person was at the very end of all the continued offers. They would not refund the one hardcopy but said they would give me half of the 20.00. I could send the whole order back but I'd have to pay for shipping. I told them I was supposed to have free shipping. But they said because I hung up and never got a person I was charged so they said they could either refund the shipping or give me 10.00 credit. I asked why this was an either/or situation when it was such a misleading process. So the person said they would give me all of their 'employee discount' for the order which was 15.00. What kind of a business is this? I will never order from them again. I may send the books back anyway even if I have to pay because it makes me not want to have anything to do with the authors who would associate themselves with this questionable type of marketing.
