Complaint 10506 Details

I received a call and several emails from Lansview Financial indicating that I have been APPROVED for a LOAN for $5000 and since I didn't have any collateral to provide they would need a small security deposit to secure the loan. WOW!!! What a Freakin Scam!!! The representative who informed me his name was Jason told me I would have to send this money to a William Storer located in Maple, ONT because this is my private lender. Well I did just that, not to mention I took my last dime to sent to these crooks. I received a phone call the following day stating that I needed to provide them with an additional $963 for the insurance portion of this loan. After fussing with them for a matter of days about receiving my money back, eventually I had the attorney that works for a few of my family members to call and eventually the number was disconnected. Telling me they were in business for 15 years, so I researched the address, this is also false, I contacted the property management office of that address and they are also trying to find these culprits. NO BUSINESS WITH LANSVIEW FINANCIAL PLEASE!! Also, I'm filing a BBB report against Western Union because they know of these scams and do nothing to prevent them.
