I applied to a "Client Service Specialist" position on craigslist yesterday and fell for the email I received below:
Hi Jennifer,
I am Jade, the hiring staffing assistant. I got your resume today,
and I am excited to let you know that I think you are an awesome candidate.
Your previous job history is a huge plus. If you choose,
I would like to move you forward in the application process now!
The next step is to get your info over to Diane the hiring manager.
To avoid problems, she only views resumes that are viewable online.

I filled out my application with their bogus website and was even dumb enough to put my SS# in the app. Now I'm panicking over what I should do.

What should I do now that I know this is a scam?? Should I cancel credit cards and put a freeeze on my SS# with the credit bureaus? I'm sooooo worried - been out of work for 2 months now and this is the last thing I need to worry about.

- I don't know how I managed to put $100.00 as the amount of damages...meant to list $0.00 and now not sure how to change it. Sorry.
