Complaint 104062 Details

I received a sales call saying for $200.00 plus a $100.00 gift card to walmart I would get 5 magazines for two years. Then I got another call saying that my 1 of my payments was denied that I still owed 899 ( in those words .) When I got my credit card statement they charged $899.00 to my account. After fighting with them on the phone telling them that I wanted the money back and for the account to be cancelled. I was told that that could not happen and they would continue to call me daily until they got their money.
That's when I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Call the federal trade commission and the attorney general for my state. The attorney generals office sent them a letter of investigation. They sent a letter of settlement back stating that they would refund all moneys paid to them except $100.00 and I would receive the magazines I ordered for a total of five years.
All of the agencies I called said that they will keep the complaint on file. If there are more complaints the can take action to put an end to their scam.
So PLEASE if you find your self in this situation, Please fight back by contacting those agencies.
