i ordered a supposedly free trial of purasilk and mystique anti-aging creams on 25/03/2012. a shipping and handling fee of £2.49 was charged and withdrawn from my account. Meanwhile, 3 weeks later the samples had not arrived and i rang the companies concerned who told me to return the samples but that i could not do so as yet as i needed an RMA number without which they could not be accepted. Upon hearing this and doubting that that they ever would arrive, i instructed them to cancel the subscription and they assured me they would.
On 12/04/12 two lots of monies for £149.95 were withdrawn from my account and on 17/04/12 i received the creams. When i rang again to complain i was told i could not cancel as i was out of the 14 day trial period regardless of the fact i did not recieve them in this period.
on contacting my bank i have been told that the only way of cancelling the subscription takes 31 days by which time purasilk will have withdrawn another lot. i have closed my bank account and had to open a new one to stop this happening.
