In Sept 2009 on my Credit Card an amount of US$898,- was deducted for a vacation package as advertised for 6 days and 5 night Orlando etc,.. etc,.. etc.. In Sept 2010, because I couldn't use the package on time, I have to extend it. I can choose for 1 year or 3 year extention. I this case I choosed the 3 year extention and I have to pay US$ 129,- This amount is also directly deducted from my Credit Card. In Oct 2011 I decided to use the package and confirmed the travel date. In this case I have to pay US$400,- for Port & processing fee for the Bahama Cruise; US$498,- for 2 weeks car rental and for reservation guarantee fees of US$75,- & US$45,- plus refundable deposit of US$ 50,-. Due to my sudden illness (heart problem) I have to be treated in the Hospital. Because of my critical condition, I might not fly (Doctor statement is available). I called the organisation to cancel my reservation and try to get my money back. Instead of getting my money back, I have to pay the cancellation fee of US$270,- and is was also directly deducted from my Credit Card.
So, in total I have lost USD$ 2,265.00. I asked the Strat Vacationing Now to issue a letter of cancellation so that I can get my money back from my travel insurance or refund all the reservation expenses ; but he won't do it. He said that I can use the package within a year or I loose my chance. Seeing that my health is stil in question and not able to fly; I am really worry. Can somebody help me how I can get my money back or help me to force the organisation to make detail of payment and cancellation letter which I badly need for my travel insurance).
