  • they have not depoisted any thing in to my bank and so far nothing was taken out.hopefully this will be the end of my trouble but i do not think that is the case the numberi called said they are not a lending place they do discount cards they took me off the list so they say i put the number on my last post maybe this might help good luck hope youare not charged with any anything

  • My sister and I were also approached by Mr. Garcia of Liberty Housing. After I asked for more money, he was able to convince the 'buyers' to come up an additional $3500! We were told we would need to put up 10% of the selling price to pay the Mexican government to do a title search or some similar line. Of course, we would get the money back when the sale was concluded. Again, Suncoast Title and escrow, Jeff Mitchell was used. I contacted my timeshare property and they told me Liberty Housing is one of the largest involved in this type of fraud. Sellers beware.

  • A similar deal is being offered to me. Thanks for posting as I'm now aware of the possible scam. I'm being told that I need to forward a 10% transfer fee to the Mexican buyer because the Mexican law doesn't allow buyers to pay transfer fees. So, I must pay $2K (10% of purchase price) and then the buyer will reimburse me via funds held in escrow. Why they don't just lower the purchase price by $2K is a mystery (if legit). I am working with Dell Yaeger at Liberty Housing Management and Jeff Mitchell at Suncoast. I will update the comment after speaking with a real estate attorney.
