  • The same thing happen to me today when I answered an ad the other day same lady and all. I know something was wrong when Charles mentioned about their services that is about $35.95 a month to use as well just like you. I mean what the heck another idea trying to pay off my debts has failed thanks to crocks like these. Someone should stop this from happening.

  • November 12, 2013...They are still jacking people around. They are in violation of federal Truth in Advertising laws and guilty of "bait and switch" advertising on Craigslist. Their real reason for recruiting you as their representative is to sell you their "Legal Shield" legal plan. 30 minute conference call turns out to be a one-way conversation(most likely pre-recorded) by a Charles Shields. For the first 90% of call you hear what a great job you will have, then the last 10% is to sell you their B.S. legal plan.

I sent them a bill for my time, you think they will pay it?

  • I appreciate the complaints that have been commented on Harvard Benefits. After I listened to the telephone conference call with Charles just recently, it was my understanding that all you need is to purchase the product for $35 a month. I have the product already (Legal Shield) and I believe the product is important to have if you are going to recruit others into the business to work as Sales Assoc. I am comtemplating becoming a recruiter because I am looking for work and do believe this business can generate a decent income for anyone who is looking for work. Thank you DDDsGirl for posting your comment as it confirms what I heard as well on the telephone conference call and I will be preparing to join the business now to work as a recruiter.

  • I am a part-time recruiter for Harvard Benefits. My job entails recruiting Risk Management Consultants who will confer with small or medium-sized companies in order to offer them additional employee benefits such as LegalShield and Identity Shield. The ONLY thing I was required to have was the legal and identity protection for $35 a month. I proceeded with the position because the legal protection is one that is essential in my book. The Risk Management Consultants essentially work like insurance agents. I've recruited individuals and received my compensation as promised as a 1099 consultant. I am not sure what other people might have been asked to pay as an initial investment or if the process changed, but that's my experience, which is pretty legit. LegalShield is a reputable company.
