  • hi this has just happened to me. i phoned my bank said that i did authorise the £1 but not the £68 they said they can recall it, then just get a new card if you can to stop the theives trying again! i also phoned the company and she tried to say that it says in the terms and conditions about it but i said no, it only says i will be charged £68 if i take a loan out which i have not, why would i pay someone that amount of money to find me a loan! i also emailed [email protected] found this on the contacts. hope this helps but yes tell your bank that it wasnt authorised and they can recall it for you x

  • Jenny,go their website and the only method of contact is through a form that you have to fill in,choose the option to cancel your application and they will send you an email with a cancellation form,fill in,post(recorded)and besides cancelling they should refund you the amount minus £5 fee...it will take between 5-7 working days but you should get back your money. Hopefully.

  • I have the same problem! They are a total scam!
    Why would we pay money to them when we are looking for a loan?!
    When i asked for a refund they explained i would not be entitled for a refund as i was over my 14 days membership however they only took my funds 2 days before i complained!
    I now have been in touch with my debit dispute team at natwest who are now investigating it.
    You should do the same
    Good luck

  • You have have to log in and send an email, then they will send you this link;

    https://www.prioritymoneyclub.com/cancel.htm

    Yes, they do it on purpose to make it hard for you to cancel, plus they take a few days to reply with the link. Not only that, you have to send ALL the bits of paper and envelopes back as well in order to qualify for the cancellation. They are VERY underhand and out to con people.

    My advice is if you got the letters from them offering you a loan, send it back to them by recorded delivery.

  • This exact thing happened to me ... priority money club say its a fee for signing up with them. I spoke to someone from the company after obtaining their number from 118118. they told me to sign the cancellation form and send it off within 14 days to get my 68 pound back!! I think its totally disgusting how they are taking peoples money without authorisation!!!

  • I too had this happen to me. I filled a complaint here but the company didnt respond. If you go to there website and ask them to send a cancellation form you will get your money back. I sent mine 1st class recorded and received an email the next day to say that they had received it, the money was back in my account within 2 days.
