  • Ok, here is what the bank did, they went after the middle man,the ones who processed the check, with out the signature as theft by check and refunded my money and overdraft fee. Then closed the old account and opened a new accout. Time comsuming yes, here it is November 27 and just now getting back to normal.

  • I can relate with your loss. The enemy comes in like a flood however God continue to raise up a standard against him. He will and already had begone to restore all... he has stolen from us. Thank you father God. Thank You President Barack Obama For restoring the world, it still takes time, unity and prayer. Not FONEY & LYING. I mean Romney & Ryan... Would do their best would God before them and Truth as well..

  • Same thing happened to me. My overdraft charges are $29.50. I called them and they ofered me a refund for. the 30 they took and a 100 gas voucher and I said hell no and they hung up on me. The date they said I applied ffor the loan was oct 18. I have not apllied for any loan but did check my credit w credit karma on the 18th. Therefore I came to the conclusion they are behind the scam. I have not entered my personal info anywhere else so it has to be credit karma. Let me know if u have recently used them as well. Thanks

  • Enoch I just want to be the first to let you know I have been there. Suggestions...Go to your bank and dispute the charges, if they do not let you then you need to contactthe FDIC. Usually when you dispute the charge they credit your account for further investigation. Close your account and open another account, but by no means try to get any type of payday loan in the future. The banks usually prefer you to dispute the charge the same day it post to your account. More than likely when you cease them access to your account they will try to pursue another scam on you. They will have someone to call you and state they are with the State Attorney's Office or another Attorney affiliation and advise you they are taking criminal charges against you and that you will go to jail unless you pay it. I spoke with the State Attorney General's Office in NC and the lady stated to me not to talk to them and DO NOT under any circumstances send them any money. They are currently investigating the situation but they are scattered all over the United States with fake information. Contact the BBB, your local attorney general's office, the consumer fraud department, and the FTC to file complaints against them for consumer fraud. I will further tell you this company is operating under several different names (maybe more that I haven't found yet). Vantage Funding, Palm Loan Advances, Loan Tree Advances, and Pacific Advances. I am currently investigating to find out how I can go about filing a class action lawsuit. By the way, when you notify the BBB they will respond by saying they will issue you a certified check for a refund, but don't hold your breath. I told them my case would remain open until I had the money in my hand. Please document everything.

  • I will tell you what I know...You need to dispute the charge from your account to your bank. However, this is advised within the same day the transaction post to your account. Also you need to file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. This company is a fraud and they are working under three different names (that I am aware of) maybe more. Loan Tree Advances, Palm Loan Advances, and Vantage Funding. They have robbed people out of thousands of dollars. I have a very hard time believing that nothing has been done to them yet. This should be illegal and should have a class action lawsuit taken out against them. I would, I just do not know where to start!

  • This company knows that it should change its business practices by making it very clear to us suckers who do not read the small print (terms & conditions). Of course, afterwards, they direct you straight to the term & conditions where they tell you that they took money from your account. I suggest that they add another page to there website that allows potential clients to say yes or no to this $30.00 fee! They should be banned from this type of practices and made to change there website so that we would fully understand what we get involved in. If you are applying for a payday loan that probably means you do not have money. So, they take money from you and don't even give you money for a payday loan anyway.

  • This same thing just happened to my Mother yesterday as well. However, they charged her $30 twice. My Mom is on a fixed income and didn't have any money in her account at the time so it put her account into overdraft. The bank charged her $35 for each transaction and will not reverse these charges until the 45 day fraud investigation period is up. Absolutely frustrating and ridiculous! I'm sorry you are going through this also, classyl74.

  • Well here we are almost 2 months in to this ordeal and still waiting for these &^%$ to return my 30.00 dollars... I got pretty nasty with them this morning because they have not return the money back to my account... So they try to offer me a 100.00 gas card, which I won't even go there when she offer that... Really, they going to send a gas card for 100.00 and refund me my 30.00... I know that I'm losing this battle, and he sad thing is that there is no one that you could really get out there that would be willing to stop the scam... We have an address of some company out here in Las Vegas, why couldn't we just plan a get together and go and pay them a visit... I think that would be the right thing to do... I will have more as the 24 to 72 hrs that they told me to wait this time come along and I don't see my money...

  • Well here we go again with the 3 to 5 business days to get my 30.00 back. Dealing with this company has been a night mare... Since July 30 I been waiting for 3 to 5 business days to get my refund and still not seeing it... I call these people every day and advice them that will continue calling them until they return my 30.00... We will see what happens in within the next 3 to 5 business days... What a scam...
