  • I filed a complaint on My Money Leaf because they took money from my checking account without my consent. I found out they were given my information thru another company. After contacting My Money Leaf by phone I was promised the money would be returned to my account wiithin 7 days and I am relieved to say that as of 12/17/12 the full amount has been refunded to me. I am after the company who "SOLD" my bank information not only to this company but to other ones as well.

  • I had the same thing happen to me last week. This company took $29.95 from my bank account without my permission. I have never dealt with this company before and don't know how they got my bank account info. I called the company and told them I didn't give them permission to take the money from my account and the person I spoke to said, "Ok, we will issue a refund", no questions asked so obviously they have done this before. I am still waiting for the refund and if it isn't there by Monday, I am going to call them again and file a complaint with www.ic3.gov I'm also considering closing this account and opening another if it is this easy for a company to get access to a bank account.

  • Hi, I was debit 29.95 on the 11/21/2012 and I emailed the
    company @ [email protected] I told them that they better do a refund and that I've contacted my bank and file a police report and they refund my money today as 11/29/2012.
    Good luck everyone. I think this company is so wrong and should let everyone know these funds will be withheld before you apply or go on their site. Best wishes and Good luck!

  • I just had the same thing happen to me. If I may offer some advice:

    1. Get new account numbers. I had to contact my bank and basically start over.

    2. File a dispute with your bank over the charges. My bank returned the overdraft fees but not the 29.95 yet. That will take ten days.

    3. File a police report and give the report number to the bank. It lets the bank know you are serious about this being fraud.

    4. Go to www.ic3.com and file a report with the FBI. If a company gets enough complaints they will investigate them. Your case may be the one that gets action started.

  • I was scammed by this company also. When I called to talk to a representative the tape said if you are calling for a refund you told to go to cghelp.org. I went there it asked for user name and phone number, but I did not sign up for this online application either. I saw article about the ripoff going on I printed it and I took it my bank and showed them. They are reversing the charge of $29.95.
