- I finally got part credit on my checking account because the bank argues that I was supposed to make a report immediately after I found out about my money being taken out without my permission, and that they can only give me credit for the last three months of this occurrence. I got tired of arguing with the representative over the phone and I decided to take whatever they can give me back. I believe the bank's rule is as malicious as the scam I have been victimized with but I don't have time to keep arguing over and over with their employees. So at least I had something credited back into my account.
