  • i too was caught out by this scam, i actually didn,t recieve the slimvida til the weekend before they were taking the money, i went to the bank on the monday but they,d already applied to take the 1st payment so i lost the £68.95. i too rang the usa for an rma number ans was informed that i wouldnmt get one, i poroceeded to tell the operator that i had cancelled my card and they would be getting no more money from me and she was very rude and told me it didn,t matter shes,d had my money and put the phone down on me. PLEASE NOTE:: if you change your card they can take no more monies from your avccount.

  • Just a quick update - I called this number: 0808 168 0207 and spoke to a gentleman named Anthony. He agreed that I had in fact cancelled the trial well within the allowed time period and informed me that I would receive my refund within the next 24 - 48 hours. Will update as soon as possible!

  • I was more fortunate than most with regard to my order for slimvida. As soon as I realised that the advertisement was at least misleading (clicking on any of the "BBC" links took me back to the slimvida details) I contacted my credit card provider and asked them to block any future payments to the company. (They had received a number of similar requests and so there was no problem). I paid the delivery costs and received the product within 5 days. I rang them to get the return instructions and sent the unopened goods back by post with delivery tracking. Checked Post office website and the parcel was delivered the following day. Have heard nothing further from the company so assume all is OK.

    For the scam company and dont want people find out how stop these scammers taking people's money and also where I come from hits illegal to use collection agency's to collect payment the most the can do is send a letter it's comepleatly illegal or anyone to call to your door to recover debt also u commented under both my comments basically encouraging people to pay for scam

    It's a well known scam please tell me how are a scam company going to a collection company it sounds like you have something to do with the scammers and don't want people find out how top these scammers taking people's money and also where I come from hits illegal to use collection agency's to collect payment the most the can do is send a letter it's comepleatly illegal or anyone to call to your door to recover debt !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have had exactly the same experience with this company.
    First the company hung up on me and then they made it difficult to get my refund of shipping, going via the insureship.com website. All seemed a bit seedy and hazy and after the ordeal with Slimvida, I couldn't face clicking any more boxes with sites associated with this product.
    The next thing I know is that the company called Home Health Club or something had taken £2.99 from my account after expressly saying NO NO NO please don't take another penny from me, and I definately don't want anything from this other company. Seems they didn't take any notice of that and proceeded to forward my details anyway. The pill bottle that I sent back ended up costing me £5.90 as the company insist on you sending it to them recorded and trackable. I would sincerly advise anyone to not use this company! Good luck to all those that are trying to claim money back and stop payments from being taken from you.

  • To return before 14 day trial over, your RMA number is your order number. Make sure you put it on outside label and on your return invoice inside. Hope this helps as i've just done it and am hoping got there in time before money goes out of my account. if you phone them they try getting you to take out other free samples at £2.95 and further monies will leave your account, just keep saying no, they are very persistant!!! Was not rude and didn't swear, remarkably, and the woman i spoke to didn't like it. Going to return them tomorrow and speak to bank at same time to stop them taking any more out.

  • This message is a warning dont order on 14 day trial offer as you cannot return slimvida even though it states on your despatch document you can. After 3 calls to the states i was told returns only apply if you order direct (not on free trial).The ridiculous amount of money taken from your bank account each month is so expensive for trying to be healthy.I hope this will help other innocent people like myself from parting with money they cant afford.I wish i had never seen the advert(free no way)

  • It cost me £130!! Banks/credit card co. and trading standards are aware. Pleeeeease contact trading standards, this is an unfair contract. The more people that report this scam to them the more chance we have of getting this stopped. I thought about a small claim on the grounds of "unfair contract" I received mine after 28days. Even if you get them 2 days after requesting them, this is not a free 14day trial. Im sure if we can all get our heads together we can stop this and have a go at getting our money back (If they dont stop operating and change their name) which apparently happens all the time.

  • I received my free trial after 28days. Like you read T&C enclosed with trial. send them a letter cancelling you subscription (recorded). I have spoken to them they will not refund trial so I had to pay £130 Inform your bank that you have cancelled subscription and please contact trading standards. They are aware of this scam the more complaints they get the more chance there is of them taking action against this unfair contract. A tv programme in Scotland are doing a programme on this scam. M&S cc are also aware of this. I urge all complainants to contact their trading standards to get this stopped.

  • Hello i sent away for FREE sample of Slimvida and couple days later received item there was no invoice or any paper work with the order so thought nothing of it then 2 months later creit card asked me to increase my payments as i had not used my card except to pay P&P for this item i then looked at my statement and was shocked when found out they took £160 from my account so phoned fraud dept they told me to get in touch with company to give them chance to give me my money back which i did and they told me no .I phoned the fraud dept again and she told me they had taken another £70 from my bank yet all i have received was free sample and still out of pocket this company needs to be stopped .They should be made to pay back all of there customers and then forced to close this business as they are con merchants

  • I didn't go for the free trail but ordered two bottle and got one free,My experience of the product were, slimvida worked as and appetite suppressant and sticking to a calorie controlled diet i have lost weight . Colon flow is a gentle laxative, two tablets on a night time works for me !! I have not been bothered by the company to reorder and was pleased with the products
