Unfortunately, you are one of hundreds of thousands of folks being deceived by companies that call their product "HCG" yet don't think it's important to highlight the fact that there is no HCG in the formula. To add insult to injury, their prices are sky high.
Since the FDA came down on HCG drops last year, most HCG drops sellers switched to a "hormone-free" formula. Since HCG is a hormone, that is a very deceptive sales pitch. Unaware consumers might think it sounds good, not knowing that it basically means "HCG-free" formula.
This is a warning to consumers: always read the label. If the ingredient you want isn't there, don't buy it. A formula without HCG does NOT cause weight loss and should NEVER be used on the HCG diet.
One way these scammers are getting around the hunger issue is to tell you to increase your calories to 800-1200 per day, just enough to control hunger. With that many calories/day you have no reason to spend money on a bottle of amino acids, which is what this is. Or, in this company's case, they just sell you more product and hope the combination will trick you into thinking it's working.
There are only a handful of legitimate companies left that offer real HCG drops. I received word that one of the big ones is switching to "hormone free" this week. I'm new to this website, but I assume links aren't allowed; otherwise, I'd steer you in the right direction.
