My order arrived yesterday. Coincidentally (or not), it was postmarked 10/8 - the day after I submitted this complaint.
I had found a site (corporationwiki.com) where she was shown to be an Officer of the Corporation. She called to tell me she was only a customer service rep. She also told me that the CSRs are told to ONLY answer by email and to say very little about orders. She did admit that it APPEARS benfranklin.com has the items on hand, but apparently they do not. It appears they use your money for a few weeks then go look for them. (After 9 days waiting I was told it would be another ten daysuntil I raised a ruckus)
I JUST got a notice my money would be refunded. I will check with my bank in the morning and if it is not there will follow up again with the Law Enforcement Agencies mentioned above.
It's too bad the man who now owns the company doesn't care about it's reputation at all. Or apparently his.
