  • I am trying to contact you on behalf of joining forces so we can get our money back. I can be reached at 337-308-6457 and ask for Christy. Well, On Nov. 17, 2011, I was contacted by Vera Tucker and she told me that I needed $2000.00 upfront to put down so I can get my $550,000 worth of grants. I have sign a fake contract stating that I won't pay the $4000 remaining until I recieved my grant money for my business. After reading everyone's comments, I realize that they were scams. I have tried multiple times since Feb. 2012, and I just to speak to Gary in Customer Service, and now, no one picks up. He would tell me that they have not heard back from the foundations yet, and for me to be patient. Well, I have been patient. enough, and now I want to do something about it. I definitely would like to get my money back from these so-called professional grant writers.

  • Hey karen they are a scam listen to my story

They called and offered to get my company setup with $1,447,000 worth of grants. since i do heating and air-conditioning. They claimed to have a 98% success rate. Part of their service included creating a special Business proposal, Profile and website which is "very unprofessional". i never got the website! They claimed it could be used with any bank organization to apply for loans as well, and that would be part of the package. They told me the total price is $1500 a month later they needed an additional $4,700 for demographic proposal again "very unprofessional", they told me when I receive the grant funds i would be reimburse . I paid $1,500, later then the $4,700 but realized too late that this is a scam organization. Now 5 months later and numerous phone calls they have asked me for MORE money ($2,700) because in order to speed up the process i would need to start a non profit organization name and records to receive these funding quickly. I did not do this. now tell me that the statement they says doesnt say scam all over it! I have seen there so call sending out letters "on my behalf" to various organizations to request grant funding. I received a letter from one lender (Kellogg Foundation) also and they declining my request for a grant. i actually did my due diligence flew down to there business address and they are not there but i did see the tan line of their old business name the mailing address of the so called demographic company is an old ups drop box that they do not reside there anymore the (Kellogg Foundation) told me they will only give grants to non profit organization and they have also told me they never heard of advanced business advisors as part of there network but have heard the similar stories that i have told them I was also told to stay away from them! If you call the BBB they also told me they have had numerous complaints from other victims about the same problems. Advanced have also have been telling people they give grants but was told by the BBB they have no affiliation nor credibility to do so. So if anyone would like to file a lawsuit against them please let me know I have all their voice Recordings of my conversations with them, paper work and have also filed a mail fraud claim with the post office and have also filed a claim with the feds against them! let me know we can join forces so if you nd to get in touch with me my number is 908-839-5277 call me and we will get them and hopefully our money back!

  • I can add my voice to the fact that this company is a scam. I work for a foundation in NYC that has received several letters on behalf of small businesses from Advanced Business Advisors Group. I now "google" the individuals and send the decline letters directly to them, not to the "resident agent" at 8871 West Flamingo Road, Suite 202, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Our foundation only makes grants to non-profit organizations for projects that fit our guidelines. We have no category of support for "business expansion" and they would have known that if they had done any kind of homework. I sent copies of the most recent requests to the "resident agent" with a personal note to stop taking people's money under false pretenses and just today it was "returned to sender, not deliverable as addressed." In the same mail came 7 more new letters from them with the same return address as what was "undeliverable." Most all foundations in the US are only allowed to give to 501(c)(3) non-profits to safeguard their own non-profit status; and they do not give grants to individuals to prevent the appearance of giving to family and friends. FYI, this is at least the 3rd iteration of this scam that I've seen. The names change, but the scam stays the same. My advice is don't send them money.

  • My business is computer retail/IT Services. The reason I think it is a scam is because there were just too many "oddities" about the whole thing from beginning to end. And of course, now it has been four months, and I have had ZERO word about any grant funding. However, I will say that they actually have (apparently) been sending out letters "on my behalf" to various organizations to request grant funding. I received a letter from one lender (Kellogg Foundation) declining my request for a grant.

The part that makes me suspicious is the simple fact that the "Professional" business plan that these guys put together for me looks like a sample template you could download for free from the internet. Worse than that, actually. It doesn't really tell you ANYTHING about my company. Just a bunch of made up graphs and projections about how I might use the grant money. Not professional at all.

Advanced Business Advisors Group also approached me about redesigning my website, and they even sent me a sample of what it would look like.

The thing is, they SEEM and SOUND legitimate. They DID send me a business plan. They DID redesign my website (although I declined their suggestion). They DID send out grant requests. And as I thought about it more and more, I think that because they actually DID provide all of these things, there is no way possible to sue them. Because they can prove without a doubt that they delivered the service they said they would.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that those products will actually get me a grant. Ever. And the proof so far is that I have not received any word whatsoever indiciating that anyone is even considering me for a grant.

IF, by chance, I DO receive a grant as a result of this, I will gladly post it in this page right away. But so far, I am not happy with their service or their products, and I still feel as though I was ripped off for my $2900.
