    I did the exact same thing! Applied for a job on Cragslist (out of the Kansas area) and a 'Sarah Duncan' emailed me directing me to jobinclayton.info to fill out a pre-interview screening (which I did and seemed legitimate until the very end where it directed me to do a credit check.... googled Clayton Careers & Partners Scams and sure enough... scambook pops up with numerous accounts of this.

    It is very sad and very frustrating to feel like you have to weed through this to find an actual potential job.

  • I seen an add on Craigslist for a Full Time Front Office Receptionist and it seem perfect for me so i sent an email to them and got the same email, i never clicked on the link , i thought i would google the name and email first because it never said what company it was for and was shocked to see all down the pages saying it was a scam. As i read people's story's i seen that they were all the same. Just want thank you because if it wasnt for you and everyone who posted about it i would probably be one of those people who fell for it.

  • Hello...I did the same thing yesterday and today...Yesterday, not so suspicious. I was just excited to possibly find work. So I filled out all the info for a different job..all the way through, but at the end it would not take my credit card info. Now today, because the responses were identical except for different companies and responding "person"..I started looking it up...Now I am nervous...What exactly if anything have I been scammed out of...I am afraid it was my credit card number I gave for the fake credit report...If so, I have protection with my bank, but it is going to be frustrating to change everything out, but worth it in the end..Sorry for the ramble...I guess the main question is What have I been scammed out of and thank you for any response..
