  • My experience with this site. They claim try for free, then youhave to sign up and pay. I thought I would go ahead and try it gor a month. This was May 6th, 2012.. After submitting my profile I viewed about 6 men on line. I found the site confusing. I was unable to access only the bare minimum of information of the one guy I found attractive. I decided I didn't like the format. The same day I cancelled my membership and deleted my profile. It looks like I am out over $22.00 as there is no way I could find to contact them. Needless to say I would not reccommend this dating site. Wish I had checked here first.

  • I had a similar experience with Mr. Sherman using Senior People Meet. Whoever he is, he is eloquent, gracious and extremely romantic in his correspondence. It stopped short of the Dubai incident because I say the above complaint and brought it to Mr. Sherman's attention. Of course all correspondence ceased. I greatly appreciated having this kind of site. I would have resolved the problem once the Dubai incident kicked in, but your site saved me the time and effort...and some of the heartache. Thank you.

  • Always read the fine print. This is a typical bait and switch. Lot's of companies and websites do this. They offer a "free trial" but give you a finite period of time to cancel or they start MONTHLY charges. I bet they're going to charge you every month now because you didn't cancel before the trial period ended. That's really your fault for not reading the terms before agreeing. Unfortunately they also make it impossible to cancel once you start paying. you need to contact your credit card company immediately and ask them to block further payments. It's a pain but that's the only real choice you have other than cancelling the card they are charging, and get a new one.

  • They are definitely fraudulent...they kept showing me fake profiles of men as well, and when I wrote back the profiles suddenly disappeared. What a joke. I can't believe they're advertising on T.V. as such a wonderful thing...instead they're just scamming people of their hard earned money. They need to be shut down, in my opinion!

    This is something when joining they do not inform you about as you profile shows up on there sister sites,leaving you open to more opportune scammers and frauds. I joined and then constantly had scammers(fake profile female) try to chat with me then lead me to Seniorpeoplemeet to see a picture of them but only to see they have none. This site is a fraud and needs to be turned over to the Attorney General in Texas.

  • Hi, read this post this morning, and I got to wondering if perhaps you're opted in, insofar as being able to be found in a search engine. If you are (which is automatically done on Our Time, you have to manually opt out if you don't want this), then anyone who googles "Our Time", and your community, will see your profile (among all the others), come up. Then, if they know you, it's a simple matter of calling you and saying they saw you on there. I don't know how big your community is, but I know of several people from mine who are on there, and who I can see when I just googled as above. When I was on Our Time (for a weeks period only), I opted out, so that people doing a search couldn't find me, only those on the "Our Time" site...to do this you go to (as I can remember), "My Account", and "preferences", and opt out. Hope that helps! I agree it is disconcerting to have someone that you don't know give you a call when you want to be relatively anonymous until you know if it's safe! Good luck...
