- As in other posts, I purchased a new computer and called McAfee in order to re-download my McAfee program to my new computer They said I had viruses and Trojans and all needed to be repaired and they would install a Malware program for me. I was charged $149.00. I looked up the Malware program and it is only about $25.00. Also my former McAfee software should have blocked all viruses. However, they made me feel I was in a box and I thought I was talking to Mcafee. This is a terrible Scam and should be stopped!
