  • I had been looking online for a payday loan and I was called by the same people, saying I had been approved for an "American Express" card with a limit of $9,500. They said it could be used anywhere. When he said it was $89, I told him I didn't have any money until July 1, and that what I was looking for was a payday loan. I thought that was the end of it, until I found out they took $89 out of my bank account (they got my info from the payday loan application) on July 5. This caused me at least 3 overdraft fees! Of course, I haven't received any credit card nor have I received any correspondence from them. I have tried to call the number the bank gave me but only get an answering machine time after time! I am working with my bank to get the money back as an unauthorized withdrawal but it will take some time. I will not be applying online for any more payday loans. No telling how many 'companies' out there now have all my contact and banking information!
