Nothing feels better than knowing you are helping others!

Last week we wrote about a scam that has been spreading like wildfire. The scam involves the purchase of iTunes gift cards, where victims are persuaded to purchase iTunes gift cards and to send the scammer the 16 digit code from the back of each iTunes gift card.

Due to our blog post about the iTunes gift card scam, some of our users reported back to us that they used this information to warn others about the scam. One user said she saw a woman on the phone at a local Walgreens purchasing iTunes gift cards, when she warned this person of the scam.

It was a scam…she had someone on the phone that wanted her to go get money and send to them…she said she had a person on the phone from another country.

We are so thankful to our community here at Scambook! Knowledge is power!
