The IRS is warning parents against telephone calls from

IRS impersonators that call and demand payments for a “Federal Student Tax”

. Should you become a victim of such a call, please do the following:

* HANG UP! Immediately, you should just hang up the phone.
* Contact TIGTA to report the call: 1800-366-4484
* Report it to the FTC
