I got a phone call from highly accented person named Robert something (I really could not understand him too well). He informed me that I owed payday loan from 2009 (which I do not) and that my social is under investigation and I am going to be subpeoned if I did not send them 400.

I felt something was wrong, so I asked him where can I send the money to--he never would give me an answer. He only stated that the "company" would only accept debit or credit cards. I repeatedly informed him that I could send him a money order for the amount--of which he got very irate and said they could only accept credit or debit cards. Upon which I hung up.

The next day, I looked them up and found that there are many complaints on this so-called company. Many other consumers have gotten the same calls using the same scripts. I in turn told him on my last call this and that they were running scams --and surprise he got very loud "we are running a scam!?" I held my ground and repeatedly told him yes! and hung up and I have not heard anything else from them. So beware--they will try to use scare tactics, but hold your ground--the truth will prevail.
