We received cards in the mail addressed to my husband's first name and title. The card was a pharmacy discount card and the mailing said that we had requested it, which we didn't. It says the card is pre-activated and that we can use it to start saving up to 76% on prescriptions. The idea is that when you use it the company will get information about us sent to them. I don't know what the scam is exactly but something is fishy. I think they are posing as an insurance company. There is no record of this company.

  • Maybe I'm crazy, but I started usin the card last year and it saves me $23 at Walmart every month. I haven't heard boo from them since I started using it. They never charged me nothing for it and I can use the money. Not sure how they make their money, but the thing says "this is not insurance" on the front of the card, so I don't think they are pretending to be insurance.

  • This is a scam they aren't necessarily making money off if each time you use the card, they are gaining all of your personal information, address, name, birth date, doctor. And they sell that information, since they aren't an insurance and you didnt sign any forms such as a HIPPA, they can do whatever they want with this information. So just be careful. Or better yet throw away the cards.
