I signed up with ERI/SET in Greenwood Village, CO in April of this year. They are a job personal marketing company for job seekers. I paid them $2,950. They were supposed to write resumes and cover letters and help market me to find a new job. They wrote 2 resumes, really the same one just formatted differently, several cover letters, all exactly the same with only minor differences. All of these documents I have to change continuously and really didn't help me much. They were also supposed to send out my resumes and letters to different types of companies, executives, etc. I was supposed to see these lists prior to them sending anything out. I did not get to see them and they sent out my information to a list of companies I still have no idea who they are. I haven't received a single job offer, job interview nor been contacted by a single recruiter or any other person or entity they supposedly sent any of my information to. They are very unprofessional when dealing with any issues you have, they are very confrontational and down right rude and nasty if you don't completely agree with the way they are handling your campaign. It seems they know as soon as someone has any type of issue with their service they have to go on the defensive and act as if this is the contract and this is the way it will be done. Even though they state that they pride themselves on client satisfaction and strive for 100% client satisfaction. I asked for a refund of my fee, I was sent to another VP of the company who continued to berate me and then agreed to send me a proposal about a refund of my fee. He never did, so I sent a complaint to the BBB, he was very difficult to deal with and after 3 weeks I spoke with him on the phone and he stated that he was willing to reimburse me $1000, an amount he believed he would have to spend in arbitration only. I refused it. I believe the company may be a scam of some type and would like to reveal them for what they are. I told them I could not afford to give them the $2950 fee and Glen Scott told me that when I had a job in six weeks that fee would be paid for in two weeks of working. while the contract does not guarantee a job in six weeks or at all, each and everyone at ERI certainly states that to you in all their sales pitches!
