i was contacted on the phone offered a welcome packet with supose be a packet of coupons with free merchandise an i never recieved a packet i have been payin on it for awhile now and i was contacted on the phone about a week ago and they told me if i was to send 160.00 they would cancel my contract and i would be paid in full and put on a dont call list and i was just contacted today from a collection agency and they told me i owe over 1600.00 and that they would cut me a brak and let me pay 699.00 and pretty much call it even and close my account and i told them that i have been makin payments by mail with a check and they said they dont accept that then who is gettin my money i asked and he didnt have a answer and then they told me that my contract is automatically renewed and i cant cancel that i didnt give them permission to renew it i dont even read the magizines i was scammed into and now they say they are gonna take me to court to get the money and that this is all gonna effect my credit score
