I placed an order on 10/30/11 and selected expediated shipping. On 11/5/11 I had not received my order and should have. I notified customer service via email and received a refund for the S&H but no response to my questions in the email regarding the order status. On 12/31/11 I still had yet to receive my order and emailed customer service a second time and included my first email, and also stated I had never received a response. Also, if you looked at the USPS.com tracking #, the post office was only electronically notified of this order, it was never picked up by them, nor given to them. I never received a response to my second email, either. I have yet to receive the order or a refund of my money. I have called and no one ever answers because they are "out of the office" per the voicemail message. I filed a complaint with the Wisconsin BBB, which was closed due to no response from the Doula Shop, also known as Lavender Sky, LLC. January 20, 2012 I placed complaints on numerous consumer boards and that actually got a reaction of Amber Luttrell and her husband. I received a letter with some belly lotion asking me to remove my complaint from complaintsboard.com and stated I should have received a refund of my money (but I haven't). They gave me a sad story as explanation to be an immoral human being that steals from the innocent and in my case, a financially struggling family. I personally don't feel bad for her as my sister has faced more struggles resulting in near death and has never resulted in illegal and immoral behavior towards other, and then used it as an excuse for being that way. Google the company reviews and you will see numerous problems and complaints of theft. The parent company, Lavender Sky LLC, has 3 online maternity sites and all have complaints (DoulaShop, BellyGifts, and eBabyCarriers all owned by Lavender Sky). The parent company is also not accredited with the BBB because it was revoked - they have a failing grade of F! http://www.bbb.org/milwaukee/business-reviews/maternity-clothes/lavender-sky-llc-in-hartland-wi-44022453/. The owner/ceo is Amber Luttrell, who happens to be the only person that has answered the phones based on other complaints I have read, so this was a small family operation. They have now shut down all their websites (as of mid-February 2012) and you have no way to contact them anymore. Seems they got away with stealing thousands of dollars from innocent consumers over the past 6 months give or take. I guess all you have to do is open a website, take payments, and then shut down without any repurcussions.
