We had our orders on automatic refill. The end of December, there became available a generic for Lipitor and instead of notifing us of the change in price (formerlly $40.00 per refill), they said once they ship the medicine, it's too bad, we have to keep it and pay the higher price. THIS IS WRONG, the doctor has checked to dispense as written, but was not aware there was a generic SUDDENLY available. I cancelled all accounts with MEDCO. This is praying on people and is wrong. I also filed a complaint with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Citizens need to be protected from this type of scam, especially when people are having to choose between food and medication!!! Shame on MEDCO. I will never deal with them again!!!
