An email from an old friend showed up and when I clicked on, much of their spiel sounded plausible to me, but I also noticed some "red flags."
So I went ahead & did it anyway, falling for the part about making immediate money.
I clicked on an offered upgrade, lost the page I was on AND my money, and ended up being placed in a completely different (yet similar) program: homeprofitmasterssystem.com.
After 5 different calls to THEIR Customer Service center, I was finally connected to a supervisor who told me that my bank would have the phone number of the merchant who took the transaction.
My bank gave me the phone number, and though I got a spiel trying to get me to at least TRY the program, once I'd typed typed the address he gave me into the address bar, I noticed 2 links to Scambook.
The representative refunded my money with a confirmation number after I told him I'd decided to wait 'til a later date to try this.
Currently, the phone number for refunds is (888)841-5446.
