I ordered a free trial of two products in December 2011 and provided credit card details to pay for post and packaging. In January 2012 the company charged me the full amount (so the trial wasn't free at all) and also sent further unordered goods for which they charged me. I immediately returned these goods and complained to the company. They have agreed to cancel my details and not send further products but so far there has been no refund. The original order form did not contain any information that suggested I was giving permission for ongoing orders.
