have posted about this before.....have since given and have been patient for my refund and it's been 11 days now when they said it normally takes anywhere from 48 - 72 hours...well those hours are long over due.....sent them another email today (7-29-11) asking politely for my refund and that they have had plenty of time to give me my refund back....told them that I was also submitting my email and forwarding it scambook.com and want my money back no later than Monday and want a reply back from no later than today. have not heard anything as of yet. I will bug them til I get it back and will do what I have to do to get these people shut down. Anyone out there get their money back yet. I know Michael you have commented on my post but however, I have yet to receive anything!!!!!! Am really losing my patience! It's takes them no time at all to take my money.....provide false information about what you getting which I thought was free 10 bids and then found out after I put in my information that they took 99.00 bucks...I immediately turned around and sent them an email telling them to NOT CHARGE MY ACCOUNT....they did anyway so they ignored my non authorization to take the money. I want to know if anyone has gotten their money back. thank you kindly and if so, how did you go about it getting it back??????? Anyone's help would be grateful.

  • Hey Joann,

I did some investigating into grabswag after being ripped off by these cronies and i found out who was behind this scam. GrabSwag.com, is a scam, partnered with a company called IMM Interactive/Copeac which is owned by Mike Krongel, which is a scam affiliate network that sends consumers to these sites via fake news articles and gets paid for it. If you click on one of the fake news sites that they are running below, and in internet explorer use webpage privacy, you will see emediatrack.com, on the privacy, which is owend by IMM Interactive/Copeac ( This is how I found out who was behind it). IMM Interactive and Mike Krongel has duped consumers out of millions of dollars says the FTC, by running fake news sites, like the one linked below, and they are currently being sued by the FTC, for false advertising and deceptive marketing practices, for using fake news websites like the one linked below. Here is a link to the lawsuit: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/1023232/index.shtm

The FTC is trying to stop them but apparently can't. Lets get these people shut down!!! Report GrabSwag and IMM Interactive/Copeac, to the FTC, Attorney Generals, BBB, IC3, FBI and lets get a class action lawsuit going against both of these companies scambook!!!

Here is one of their fake news sites they are behind, which if you do webpage privacy in internet explorer on the grabswag page, you will see " emediatrack.com" which links you straight to Copeac/IMM Interactive: http://www.consumerinfonews.com/deals-of-the-century/index4.html

UPDATE HERE IS THE NEW FAKE WEBSITE IMM Interactive / MIKE KRONGEL IS USING TO LURE CONSUMERS TO THIS SCAM:

Here is a link to the IMM website and the grabswag site that says free, yet charges you $99 : http://www.imminteractive.com

  • Hi Joann,

I am sorry to hear about your confusion about the charge to your credit card. We try very hard to make sure our credit card charges to our users are clearly disclosed.

While I really still hope you will use the site, I also realize GrabSwag isn't going to be for everyone. If you want to email: [email protected] or call us at 8777314287 , We will make sure that your situation is resolved.

    Thanks,
