At around 9:25 AM, a call came to our house phone from 866 932-6750. It sounded like a recording but didn't give any caller identification and specifically asked for, by name (first and last) the head of this household and requested a hang up if there was any unauthorized person present that could overhear the conversation. There was then a request to call back and, that done, they asked I give them my name and when she asked I verify my address, I refused and asked who the call was from and what it was about. She wouldn't tell me so I wouldn't give any further information. After more conversation, she eventually gave me a street address which wasn't mine. She then said she would take my name and phone number off the list which could take 24 hours and I may receive another call during that time.

I don't know if this was a scam but it was very strange since they wouldn't identify themselves or give me any information about the "problem" but began by asking me my name, which I gave them, and my address which I didn't give.
