Received a text from (678) 545-8320 saying: You are selected to Test&Keep Unreleased iphone5. Go To http://iappletestandkeep.com & Enter Code: XXXX Code valid 24 hours.

Visited website and it looks like nothing Apple would do - so I Googled "appletestandkeep" instead and here I found others who have seen the same scam. Did not go further. Did not pass Go. Did not lose $any money!

This is a phishing operation for names, numbers, and information for direct marketing of any and every form. See below. By putting in the code, you are agreeing to get bombarded with direct mail, phone calls, and other crap.

Website says iPhone 5 Confirmation.... Test & Keep and iPhone5... and asks for the 4 digit code....

also has a "like us on facebook" button.

and a "By clicking continue you are agreeing to our Privacy Policy" and UNSUBSCRIBE.
