Please understand the names used here are the names given in the invitations and are real but they are obviously used without permission and not truly a part of this scam. The true originator of the scam is not known since I never bought in to their offering. Here's the scam in brief:
Today I received a very well put together offer from the Victory Outreach Church in England. Event call the VICTORY PRAISE YOUTH AND ADULT CONFERENCE 2011. The Pastors name mentioned was Pastor Richard Taylor. The event offer to pay airfare roundtrip, local travel, hotel acomodations, meals for the 3 day event which would require 5 days of time. There was also a fee offered for our services. The church in the email was Victory Outreach Church but the web address was for Victory Church. The pastor name mentioned above and the email address were real and listed on the web site given. They I feel sure are not a part of the scam but used to make the scam look authenic. I notice the difference in the church names and the phone and fax numbers. Then I stated to do a little research. It didn't take long before searching through google others had an almost identical offering. The loss would occur when paying for the UK work and entry permits which the address given to apply for these were in on the scam. Before I learned of the scam I had email the original sender of the invitation a list of questions which as of this writing have not been answered. It will be interesting to read the reply. Through this we should all beware. The devil is on the rampage to discourage and deminish the faith of the Lord's workers but I can tell you for me the devil will not win. One day these people will have to answer for their deceit. Vengence is the Lords. Don't mess with His anointed.
