This is a scam. On 1/26, I called Comcast regarding cable. I didn't realize this fraudulent company intercepted my call to comcast. Their sales pitch was, for 3.95 you will receive 100.00 gift card to use at Walmart, Target. So, I thought, wow, comcast is now selling other services. The rep kept me on the phone for 10 minutes, trying to sell me more stuff, but I told him I need to be transferred to comcast. He gave me the number, the same number I called in the first place. I hung up and called Comcast, and told the rep about the call. The rep was confused and does't know anything about this company. They've had complaints of intercepted calls. I felt sick that I was suckered. on 2/1/12, I called Assist 123 to cancel membership and credit 3.95. The lady was kind and professional and credited back the charge. Still, I'm cautious. I contacted my bank to block this company of erroneous charges in the future.
Lesson learned: never give your credit card # to any caller especially when the deal sounds too good to be true!
