TV started getting black and white dots on the screen only 3 years after purchase. Conveniently the warranty was up the month before. I called Mitsubishi and they told me to get an estimate so I went and got the estimate and it was going to cost me over $1400 to get it repaired which is extremely ridiculous since I paid $1600 for it brand new. I got back in touch with Mitsubishi and they said they would get back to me well luckly they honored my warranty I'm guessing because it had only ran out in just the previous month but I still had to pay for labor which was over $250. Well I had it repaired at a local Mitubishi certified electronics store which took me forever to get back and then when I finally got it back it still wasn't fixed but now it had a white swiggly line going from top to bottom so I had the electronics store check it out again and come to find out the optical assembly which they had just replaced was faulty too. So they sent the optical assembly back then Mitubishi sent them another one they installed it and finally the tv was fixed but guess who got stuck with paying the shipping fees which was about $30 I feel like I shouldn't have had to pay a dime considering just about every dlp they made was defective in this way they should have offered this repair at no cost. Im sorry but you don't invest that much money into a television for it to crap out in 3years.
