Not exactly sure of the day in April but, while in Branson, MO. my wife and I visited Summer Winds and was sold a membership in a travel and cruise club where we had access to a website for discounted trips. This was suppose to be a lifetime membership with no mention. or us agreeing to , a yearly renewal fee. This membership cost us nearly $3000 but we saw that as a lifetime and a "inheritable" benefit. A recent letter from Summer Winds, dated 5/31/11 states other wise. After 2 years into the program, of which my wife and I have yet to use, the letter states to continue membership it will be $99 per year. With the initial cost of the membership, they should not expect any more nor did they tell us of any additional costs when we bought into the club, so watch out! They will scam you anyway they can. Phone calls / messages to this company go unanswered.
