I was solicited by mail by the company. They offered a siminar on how to start an online business. If you would come to the siminar you would get an I Pad. Well the I Pad became a reward. The siminar was informative. They addressed all the main issues with an online business. You had to pay to attend the next training siminar. Their information filled in some of the holes I had found in openning an online business, so I opped to go to the siminar. The main issue in openning an online business is getting it recognized by the search engines. Of course programing the site is a main concern as most of us are not programers. Well what Storesonline sells is the personal programing, search engine recognition, networked system and coaching; which is why you pay so much for their system. What you get is a templete and coaching on the function of the templete. Some of the coaching is from foreign areas with thick accents, some with good knowledge, some not so good. Hang up call back is the solution. You also have to find a dropshipper unless you want a shop worn product they have. Some were good with potential. There is very little help or information on how to find a good dropshipper for what you want to sell, unless you have an existing store front. It is recommended by comsumer protection that buyers only use sites that have land based stores. I ended up programing all my products as the programing items to make your site work was an upcharge on the free programing. I had my site online in the two months that got me the I-Pad which turned into an MID Android that never turned on, or worked. No where to turn for exchange with MID. Again the main reason number two search engine recognition. They offer "keyword" teaching tools, footprints to follow developing the keywords, but when the verbage does not work they offer for a mear $650 more, ($250 specials are offered occansionally) to help you write the script that meets search engine demands. This is what failed my store. Your cost for their system $6,000 is for a templete with a strongly written software package. You had best have at least a strong based college computer and computer marketing background or deep pockets; I had some Lotus spread sheet programing background. I found I had done all the work to set the site up for online in two months; however, the only thing that makes it work is the search engine, that is what we all buy is their sale of the google page one. That does not come with the $6,000. nor does anything that would give your site an edge.

From the day you sign up you are consistantly hammered by marketing companies who know, storesonline will leave you floundering trying to reach the search engine marketing. Again for a mear $ more they will help. The site is a promoter for people working at storesonline to be paid to do what they eluded you to believe you were paying for.

You can for about $65.00 get most of what they offer you. There are several companies who will contact you right after you sign your contract that will do all they offer and help with the search engine writing. Their templetes were very much like the $6,000 version. Their network does not seem as good, but I had all my money in my StoresOnline product, so I did not check it out.

They do have a very well networked system, that solves (for a price) all of the online store problems. The price only starts with the $6,000. They only spoke of a few successes, I wonder what their failure rate is 90%.

  • My purchase date was 6/2011. We have not finished paying for the $6000 product. I stopped paying the notes and filed the complaint. They owe us around $3,290. Dollars in down payment and paid notes. What do we need to proivde to get our money back. I included copies of the receipts and notes, etc. with the claim.

  • Edit to $3,290. This would include extras I paid like $200 to the dropshipper to set up that account, domain charges, fees to sign up for the this and that's mentioned or not. Loss of promised I Pad that never worked and has no warranty. Actual payment including drafting credit card account is $2,723.28. I have sent copies of all of these charges. Ali
