COL. Amanda Turner stated that she has a 2004 toyta Camry XLE for sale. This car is worth $13,000 KBB. I am a person if it sounds to good to be true it has to be. I googled her and found another story just like mine and the e-mails match to the T!!!
She goes into story that she is in the military and can never call you, she only reponds to e-mail. She is from WA State and is going to be shipped to Afphanistan. Please keep your eyes open!! I didn't figure it out untill just now and I've already recived my transaction order papers for this car.

- There is actually a col. Amanda turner in the military my brother who is currently in Afghanistan looked her up. I wish we would have read this site much sooner....I am living with my parents and two kids until I get out of college and we are on a very tight budget. We were looking for a good reliable car and came across this one. Talking to this person everything sounded so legit and looked legit. Well we didn't trust our gut feelings and went through with the purchase. Needless to say my mother is furious and this person has been reported to eBay for using their logo and falsely advertising that the woman you send the money to is an eBay regional manager. I have reported on craislist that her ad on this car is prohibited. I would do anything for no one else to get scammed by this person. But like my mother said everyone has to get "burned" at least once in their life. I am now very iffy about buying off eBay. But thank you so much for confirming our fears about this ad.

- No problem. There were a few things that caught my eye. She could never call and the price to have the shipped to everywhere on the earth that lady couldn't afford. On Craigslist it tells you to be aware of any post that has to deal with eBay or western unions. I used Google to find out more.about this person to make sure it was real and found more posts with the same exact emails to.the T! There was nothing different in any of them. I'm sorry you got burned but we all make mistakes and we have to learn from them. If u can't call someone or.see it in person or even have it checked at the shop It's.not worth ur time. I looked at a 99 Toyota camery for $4500 and i took it to a shop at paid $30 for the guy to tell me off hand that i'd be buying a car that needed at least $2500 worth of work. I walked away from it. I don't want someone else's problems.
