Update of 1/21/12 post. After speaking with supervisor at Auravie who said he'd refund half and then said he wouldn't refund anything, I filed online complaints with the BBB and the California Attorney General. Today the $97.88 charge to my debit card is gone. Just disappeared. The charge had been showing as pending since I caught it the morning it came onto my account and was waiting for it to move from pending to posted so I could file a dispute with my bank. Luckily Scambook required proof and I made a copy of my online statement before it was removed. Not sure who is responsible for the return of my money, but thank you. Next step is to have the bank block access to my account so I won't have any more surprises.
