Company called to verify address and name of company. The owner of the company comfirmed information, some of which was correct. He was not aware that we did not advertise with this company and had them fax over an invoice; we were "past due" on. When I received the invoice and checked our records we had never advertised or agreed to advertise with this company. Part of the fax was a collections letter (generic). When we called the collections agent, Mark Steven, he told us that we had a verbal agreement with the company because we had confirmed our information over the phone with them. They played the tape, there was no mention of advertising or contract. They have called a couple more times and were told off the last time. This is a scam........beware. The logo looks like Dex & yellowpages.com, but is slightly different the back finger is behind the book. Both the women and the man had strong accents. Company phone # 1855PYP-AGES www.publicyellowpages.com 405 Lexington Avenue Chrysler Building 26th floor NY 10174
