Grabswag.com - False Advertising

I saw on their now spam window was 25 free bids when signing up, I signed up for the free bids and was charged $99 bucks plus another $18.75 for the 25 bids, total 117.75, the worse part is that I couldn't get back into the login page without putting through a credit card again which of course I didn't do.
I called one of their customer at 1-888-467-4217 (her ID#404), I gave her my First Name, Last Name and my last 4 digits of my Credit card#, and she said, she can’t find my name, she asked me to call back tomorrow.
After I called them, I think something is not right, and I went to Google then I found out I am not alone, a lot of people has been scammed by GRABSWAG.COM.
The Website not even allows me to log-in, I’m not even have a chance to bit for anything, every time I tried to log-in, and the webpage keep asking register.
I already called Chase bank to dispute those two amounts.
Guys, please tell our Credit Bank we want our full refund from Grabswag.com

  • Hi Hoa,

That is terrible that you had such a hard time with the site and customer support. Unfortunately if you are not in the system, there is not much customer service can do at that point.

While I could be wrong, my guess is that the initial charge never went through. If it in fact did, then you would be in our system. It is always easier for both consumers and us to resolve matters through a refund rather than a bank dispute. The process is far easier and MUCH faster for the consumer.

I would invite you to please call customer support again to see if you are now showing up in our system.

I am sorry again for your sub-par experience on the site.

  • I "won" several items on their auctions. Somehow 1 of the cheaper items were shipped to me, however 6 other items have not shipped and its been over 6 weeks since I paid for them and still no deliveries. I have spoken to there customer support and am always being assured that they will ship "soon". I doubt very much that they will ever ship and am sure that I will not get my money back.

  • I did some investigating into grabswag after being ripped off by these cronies and i found out who was behind this scam. GrabSwag.com, is a scam, partnered with a company called IMM Interactive/Copeac which is owned by Mike Krongel, which is a scam affiliate network that sends consumers to these sites via fake news articles and gets paid for it. If you click on one of the fake news sites that they are running below, and in internet explorer use webpage privacy, you will see emediatrack.com, on the privacy, which is owend by IMM Interactive/Copeac ( This is how I found out who was behind it). IMM Interactive and Mike Krongel has duped consumers out of millions of dollars says the FTC, by running fake news sites, like the one linked below, and they are currently being sued by the FTC, for false advertising and deceptive marketing practices, for using fake news websites like the one linked below. Here is a link to the lawsuit: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/1023232/index.shtm

The FTC is trying to stop them but apparently can't. Lets get these people shut down!!! Report GrabSwag and IMM Interactive/Copeac, to the FTC, Attorney Generals, BBB, IC3, FBI and lets get a class action lawsuit going against both of these companies scambook!!!

Here is one of their fake news sites they are behind, which if you do webpage privacy in internet explorer on the grabswag page, you will see " emediatrack.com" which links you straight to Copeac/IMM Interactive: http://www.consumerinfonews.com/deals-of-the-century/index4.html

Here is a link to the IMM website and the grabswag site that says free, yet charges you $99 : http://www.imminteractive.?com
