Purchased an Etrike with the Lithium battery upgrade. Bike arrived 45 days later than originally advertised. When it arrived I was suspect that it didn't have Lithium batteries due to the weight of the battery pac. So I removed the battery pack cover to discover 4 cheap Chinese SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries, not the Lithium batteries I purchased. I have emailed (including a photo of the SLA battery) the company numerous times and their response is that they don't believe they send the wrong battery and wanted me to pay shipping to return the SLA battery (heavy lead battery) back to them.
I told them that they needed to pay for the return shipping as it would cost me more than the cheap batteries were worth to ship. The company refused.
I suspect that many people who purchased the lithium battery upgrade have been scammed. I just happen to be electronic savy enough to have caught on to it. Buyers beware!!
