James Frasure (loveadventure43) from Match.com is a scam artist. States he is a widow with a 5y/o son with diabetes. Told me on day 1 of conversations he was in Nigeria with his sick diabetic son. His son's insulin was in "luggages" and they were separated from them. I questioned him about the insulin not being refrigerated and why would he travel without his son's medicine. He said he was going to refrigerate it when they arrived in Nigeria...from Columbus, Ohio! Then he asked me to send money. I told him no and said he was out of line asking me. He sent me a link showing a check from JPMorganChase payable to him for $258,000 that was on "hold". I told him if he truly made that kind of money he would have cash on him, especially traveling with a child with medical conditions. Well...he did not like me challangening him and proceeded to call me "evil" and told me to "burn in hell". Luckily, I was smart enough to see the red flags and not buy into his "story". I told him if he ever contacted me again I would call the police. I blocked his email address ([email protected]) and when I went back on Match to report him, he had already hidden his profile. Beware of this man. His story is lame and not to be believed.

  • hmmmm i wondered if he was a con artist.
    I'm actually talking to him now. I questioned him bc he is such a smooth talker. He told me he had a 10 yr old daughter and widowed 2 years ago. Hasn't asked for money yet. lol I'm glad I checked him out on the internet

  • I'm so thankful for your posts. He just emailed me today. You can usually spot these con artists by their broken English but this guy is very smooth. What a jerk!

  • I started talking to him from match.com also. He decided not to ask me for money for some reason. I would have never given him a single cent anyway. Ass!

  • He is back...... Seelove432 on match. He still has a daughter who is 10 and he has been widowed 2 years. Smooth talker who over does it. Says he moved here from MA after his wife died, yet if you google him he has a house in Columbus with Lisa, his mother passed away earlier this year

  • He is back on match.com just 48 hours after i told him to get lost. I reported him to match.com right away and he hid or removed his profile. Hope he is not scamming some other poor women. what an ass! I hope match.com will get him offline for good!

  • I was contacted him as takingitslow348 on match.com. He is a real smooth talker, sent me a copy of the same check he sent others. I did send him some money, stupid I know, but I have felt from the beginning he was a scammer so didn't send much. Now he is blackmailing me. Hope they catch him soon.

  • Yup he says he has a contract with Nigeria to rebuild a bridge for over $6 million and that he is a widower and his wife died of breast cancer 2 yrs ago. He shows pics of this guy who is supposedly him with an Asian girl. Now he is saying that he put money up for this contract and his assistant got shot and he needs money or he will lose the contract. How lame. Im not stupid and I started investigating him right from the start and then I found this site. Someone needs to report him to the Franklin County Sheriff so they can prosecute him. In fact I think I will do it right now.

  • I think he is using another name now. I met fred_wilson5858 on match on 4/6/2012 and with in days he charmed into emailing from our personal email,which he is [email protected]. He gave me a story that he is divorced with a nine year girl Jenny and he is a civil engineer which he had to go to west africa for a job that he gets paid $600,000 for, but he fell in love with me and wanted to start a business sending me grams of gold for me to sell and how much can i come up with? I imediatly knew for sure he was a scam so i broke it off but he still contues to try he also sent me his address which was the the 3rd diff one. then SS# and passport which that i found the name James frasure at the bottom which should be his name! Then his birth cert and other doc from Nigeria.But i was stupid and gave him my home address and he said he was going to come see me whren hre gets back to prove to me he is real then i will regret it because he doesnt want to be with someone who doesnt trust him> I really screwed up. But i reported him to match and Yahoo and this site!
