I applied for a personal loan on line. Union Capital Trust contacted me, I was sceptical and wary, but the representative assured me over and over that business was not a scam. I sent a "collateral" deposit via Western Union. The loan funds were supposed to be deposited to my account. AFTER the funds were picked up, suddenly there was a complication with my loan and another collateral deposit was needed. I refused and cancelled the loan request. I was told that yes I could receive a refund, but it would be made with the lender's billing cycle in 1 month. I reported my experience to the Better Business Beauru of New York.
