This morning I received a text stating on my NetSpend card that a transaction was authorized for $565.00 to VCollect San Jose CAUS. I immediately called the customer service representative & he stated that I had to wait 3 days after the transaction clears before I can file a dispute, then when I asked why because I didn't authorize the transaction, he came back & stated I had to wait 7 days because it was unauthorized. The CS Rep could barely speak English & I couldn't understand him so I had him repeat it constantly & finally I asked for his supervisor. He transferred me but it took almost 30 mins. before anyone got on the phone & when he did, I got the internal audit stating they need to put me on hold for 1-2 mins. Well, it took almost 15 mins. & I never got anyone. I disconnected & called back & recieved another Rep that I hardly coud understand. So, he pretty much gave me the same run around like the first rep & stated that after 7 days my money will be returned AFTER I file a dispute. I asked how will my money be returned if/when the "scammers" got the money & probably will never pay back. He mentioned to me, "don't worry about that, we will get it back, it is our job to get your money back & put back in your account". I am still cautious about this & wonder if I will get my money back. I am still going to call everyday until this gets cleared up. Whoever is doing this need to be caught because no one deserves to have their hard working money be stolen when the card company claims to have "your back" & when it does really happen, the victim has to wait. No one can wait 7 days when people need their money. I am so angry & I will get to bottom of this. Also, does anyone out there know the number to NetSpend's Corporate office? I would gladly appreciate it.
