I, too, received a letter from Consumer Center Research and a check for $1,306.29 with instructions to cash it, send money to Western Union, etc. There were a couple things that made me "raise my eyebrows!" First, the envelope was from Canada and the company is in New York. Secondly, when I called the number, the man who took my call (Jeff Bishop) specifically told me to "cash the check," and he wanted to know when I would cash it. Thirdly, I became suspicious when I was told that I could keep any goods that were purchased at the places that were being evaluated. Lastly, I remember what my parents always told me, and that is, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!

I decided to check out this company on the internet and that is when I saw the letters from all of the people who have been scammed by this company. I will be taking my letter and your comments to the police tomorrow rather than going to the bank!

Thanks for alerting us to this fraudulent company!!!

Jean Smith
