Okay, so I too was scammed. I am sick to my stomach. The more reports on this scam I read, the more embarrassed I feel.

I too responded to a posting on Craigs List for a Motorola Xoom. A week later I get a response. Here is that email

Hey,

Sorry for replying so late..i just met someone up and sold it

If your still trying to find one at a discount, i found mine at This Site

They still have the 4th of july promo for 10 free bids and i just signed up and won.

Trick i found was to bid only when counter hits 4 seconds.

hope i was able to help

regards,
Lisa

This is just like the scam reported at this website by:
http://www.scambook.com/report/view/3977/Grabswag.com-False-Advertising-for-99.00-on-07-10-2011

They get you to sign up for free bids, but in order to bid, you have to give them your cc number. After you set up your account. You are automatically sold a bid pack for $99.

Their website states they are an accredited business with the BBB.
The BBB does not even have this business on file!

Contact your cc company immediately!
The number that is associated with the credit card charge is:
888-467-4217

Report your scam, the more reports, the more the authorities might step in.
I have reported this company to my CC company
The BBB
The Internet Crime Complaint Center via the FBI
and my local news company
Help stop these people in their tracks!

GrabSwag, I hope you are reading this and running scared.
I have read reports where people say they are out the money.
People, become aware: Always check out a business with the BBB first especially if they say they are accredited. But mostly:
If you dispute a credit card charge with your bank, according to the FCC Regulations, if they find evidence backing your story, they will reverse those charges back to your account, and they will go after the company.
This is how we can all step in to help each other out by reporting our cases.
Beware, once this company catches on, they will just change their name and their scheme, so let's try to stop them before they rip off millions more!!
