A lending company called Capital Secured Credit Services posted an advertisement in my local newspaper, The Daily Times, Farmington, NM. This company is affiliated with Capital Secure Lending Services (numerous other complaints about this named company here on this site). Called them at 800-374-7680 on 11/16/2011 and spoke to Candice about getting a $5,000 loan and was sent an application. I was told of a need to send the first premium payment to obtain the loan, so I sent $617 via Western Union to an individual in New York. No money was placed into my account so when I called back, I was told of an additional "allocation fee" of $446. This payment was sent via Western Union to an individual in Ontario, Canada. Still no loan money sent to my account. Another call produced a request for an additional $300+ that I refused to pay. My telephone calls are now ignored or blocked by their 1-800 phone number. I have reported this scam to my local police department.
